Recommended Dose: To control the bacterial leaf blight in rice fields, around 500gms of Cuprofix has to be sprayed. It is best not to reduce the dose as it may not control the blight in paddy fields.
Method of Application: This has wettable granule formulations which can easily dissolve in water. Foliar spray is the only recommended method of application for Cuprofix. Since it is a contact fungicide and bacteriacide, one has to be apply through spraying on the plant parts.
Mode of Action: It is a contact fungicide. Since it is a non-systemic fungicide and bacteriacide, it kills Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae. which is the causal agent of bacterial blight in paddy.
